As a native of South Louisiana, Jessie began his culinary journey at the John Folse Culinary Institute at Nicholls State University. In 1996 he relocated to Paris, France, where he would go on to become an acclaimed chef and successful business owner. He spent several years working alongside world renowned chefs including Bernard Loiseau and Michael Troisgros.
In Dijon, France he perfected his pastry techniques with Stephan Vannier.In 2000, Jessie created Votre Chef a Domicile, a personal chef and catering business. He was recognized by his peers for the success of Chef a Domicile and was awarded the Coup de Coeur award for Best New Small Business at the Palais des Congres. He has since been featured in over 14 different culinary and business magazines.
In 2009, Jessie introduced ‘Louisiana Spice Truck’ in Jersey City, NJ. The little white truck features a rotating menu of traditional brassiere and classic Louisiana comfort food. In the spring of 2010, Jessie will debut ‘Le Petit Temptation’ in Hoboken, NJ. Le Petit Temptation will feature high end, modern European style desserts.
